Scientifically as Ligustrum Robustum, or better known as "Qing Shan Lu Shui" which translate to green mountain clear water. Reputed in traditional Chinese medicine that these leaves may help to detox, liver cleanse, lower blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol levels. By extension, relieve arthritis issues such as gout. When brewed, the leaves yield a slight astringent and bitter taste, yet dissipates and leaves the palate with a clean sweetness. Angel green is grown in both Sichuan and Guangxi provinces.
